Vision
Create an annual celebration on the Potomac River to benefit youth and conservation programs in the Washington, DC National Capital Region.

Mission
The Nation’s River Bass Tournament celebrates youth participating in the Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region (LC-NCR) and the Discovery Creek Children’s Museum of Washington (DCCM). These youth are aiding in the improvement of the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers. The event supports those programs and the young people participating in them through media coverage in local, regional and national media, and by providing funding through tournament sponsorship from local, regional and national benefactors. The funding will also expand the much needed support for LC-NCR’s and DCCM’s programs that educate urban youth with hands-on learning on the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers through academic enrichment programming and workforce development training.
